The Solo's!

  • There are two solo's in 'Rock Around the Clock.' The first is the guitar solo and the second is a Saxophone and guitar solo combined.

  • Take a look at the tab parts below and learn them slowly at first!

  • The 'b7' on the second line of 'Solo Number 1' means that you need to 'bend' the string with your finger in the 7th fret on the G string.

  • The forward slash sign ('/') on the first line of 'Solo Number 2' means you slide both your fingers up to the 7th and 8th fret from a distance of about 2 frets (or how ever many you're feeling clever at! Good luck!)

  • Do take a listen to the examples for the timings and style of playing.
